Food and Drink In South Styria
We obtain most of our products from small regional farmers. The organic bread is delivered directly from the bakery “Atschko”, the marmalades are homemade and already in summer we prepared the herbs and some of the vegetables for the winter season.
BREAKFAST ON WURZENBERG
Breakfast is served until 10:00 am each day. Obviously with a view. Our “breakfast box” is delivered through a hatch in the lodges. Our guests from the nature park rooms can enjoy the lovingly presented regional delicacies in our panorama lounge. Thus, our guests always start their mornings in our house with a delicious, regional breakfast.
Wine fridge
Cool beverages and fine wines from the region are always available in the wine fridge in the breakfast area in our nature park lounge. Look for our WURZENBERG EDITION! Coffee and tea are provided for free. Furthermore, you will also find regional snacks next to the wine fridge.

On pre-order
In order to ensure the freshness of the menu we kindly ask you to pre-order before your arrival.
If you only decide last minute that you wish to order the menu kindly tell us latest during breakfast the day before you wish to receive the menu.
One of the most traditional dishes in our region is the “Brettljause”.
Made-to-order (kindly tell us during breakfast) we offer organic ham and sausages, cheese, various homemade spreads and much more. Our Brettljause is perfect any time of the day, in the morning, as brunch, lunch, a hearty snack in between or as dinner. Each time is appropriate for this cold served Styrian specialty. Obviously some wine is included.
We serve our Brettljause in the lodges or in the panorama lounge.
On Wurzenberg we also arrange wine tastings including cellar tours (latter depending on the season and upon consultation) at our partners’ estates: the wine-growing estates of Kathy Lackner-Tinnacher, Karl Riegelnegg, Otto Riegelnegg, Hannes Söll and Lisi Assigal.
