We say “good morning” on Wurzenberg, as you can look forward to a delicious South Styrian buffet breakfast. On sunny days, you can enjoy exquisite specialties from our region and the wonderful view on the winehills and the in-house feelgood garden on the larch wood terrace. If you prefer to stay inside a bit longer, the fully glassed breakfast room offers a place to feel comfortable.

You will find badminton kits and more in a storage box in the garden at your disposal. In case you are in search of some brainwork we provide a wide range of carefully selected books in our book chest under the stairs in the breakfast room.
An ancient chapel on our property serves as a power spot where our guests can find rest and relaxation.
Maybe you’d rather dine out and savour the wines of the region, then you will find wine restaurants, inns and restaurants within walking distance. The guest cab from Gamlitz or the new WEINmobil will bring you back safely to Wurzenberg again.
One week before your arrival you will receive an email with a link in order to check in online.
With the hotel card, you can activate the electricity in the nature park rooms and the lights in the breakfast room.
Kindly always lock the doors when you leave your room and the house. Please return the card on your departure day. Unfortunately, in case of loss or damage we have to charge you EUR 10,-.
For free for our guests. All our rooms and lodges have WIFI access. Simply select “wurzenberg guest” as Wlan and connect your device with our network without a password.

We offer daily room service in the nature park rooms until 12:00 am. In the nature park lodges (also daily if required) upon request.

Gamlitz is 5 kilometres away, Leutschach only 3. If you prefer doing your shopping by foot you can also taste the regional delicacies. Feel free to ask us, we know the producers from the region and will be happy to advise you!
You will find a remote control in each room. In case of a blackout the shutters can also be operated manually. On sunny, hot days we highly recommend shutting the shutters completely!
Kindly order the South Styrian Brettljause or the picnic basket before your arrival via email or for the current day please tell our team during breakfast.
If you feel a craving for a crisp glass of local wine in the evening, simply go to our wine fridge in the breakfast room and help yourself! Furthermore, you will find beer, water and various juices. Next to the fridge there is a box with a tally sheet with your name on it where you can kindly tick the beverages you have consumed. The settlement will be done on your departure day.
On Wurzenberg we also arrange wine tastings including cellar tours (latter depending on the season and upon consultation) at our partners’ estates: the wine-growing estates of Karl Riegelnegg, Otto Riegelnegg, Hannes Söll and Lisi Assigal. This is exclusively for our guests. (Kindly inform our team during breakfast!)
